- EducationQuest
- Complete a profile in ScholarshipQuest.
- If you are a Nebraska resident in grades 9 through 12, you will see the EducationQuest Scavenger Hunt Scholarship in your results.
- “Scavenge” around the EducationQuest website to find answers to the questions in the survey.
- Complete and submit the survey.
- EducationQuest will draw two winners from those who answered all the questions correctly.
- Facebook drawing when we hit 7,500 followers.
- Twitter drawing when we hit 3,500 followers.
- Instagram drawing when we hit 1,000 followers.
- EducationQuest will continue to award $500 Get Social Scholarships each time we reach an additional 500 followers on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
- Be a junior or senior attending a Nebraska high school.
- Attend an EducationQuest Financial Aid Program before December 1, 2018 (parents/guardians may attend on their student’s behalf).
- Complete an online scholarship entry form (details provided at the Financial Aid Program).
- Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) and Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP) Scholarships
EducationQuest offers three scholarships to all Nebraska high school students: the EducationQuest Scavenger Hunt Scholarship, Get Social Scholarship, and Financial Aid Program Scholarship.
Scavenger Hunt Scholarship
Here’s how it works:
Awards: Two $500 scholarships via the NEST 529 College Savings Plan. If you are a winner, you will need to open a NEST account to receive the funds.
Deadline: Complete the survey by March 31, 2019.
EducationQuest will deposit the $500 scholarships into the winners’ NEST 529 College Savings Plan account. Winners who do not have an account will need to set one up.
Get Social Scholarship
Follow EducationQuest on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and you’ll get more than important college planning information. You might win a $500 Get Social Scholarship!
How it works:
Each time EducationQuest
reaches specific follower milestones on our social media pages, we’ll invite current and new followers to enter into a drawing for a $500 scholarship. We’ll conduct a:
We will announce on social media when we've reached a milestone, and will provide a link to a scholarship entry form. You will have 72 hours to submit the form.
EducationQuest will deposit the $500 scholarships into the winners’ NEST 529 College Savings Plan account. Winners who do not have an account will need to set one up.
Financial Aid Program Scholarship
Students who attend an EducationQuest Financial Aid Program will be eligible to register for one of six $500 scholarships. A Financial Aid Program will be at Platteview
HS on Wednesday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m.
EducationQuest will randomly select six student winners on or around December 1, 2018.

Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) and Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP) offer qualified students the opportunity to apply for a full-tuition scholarship and a guaranteed seat in medical (all fields of medicine) or law school.
Other Nebraska colleges offering RHOP opportunities include Chadron State College (a PHS grad is in his first year of RHOP at CSC), Peru State College, and University of Nebraska-Kearney.
Besides Wayne State College, RLOP is also available at Chadron State and UNK. For more information, please read our RHOP and RLOP flier.
